RDS Advantage announces the
release of Version 9, containing capabilities going beyond those
included in most church management systems.
Version 9 includes, among other
features:
NACHA (National Automated
Clearing House Association) electronic banking for all
accounting (Payables, Receivables, Contributions and Payroll)
without the need of other third-party software.
Check imaging of both
sides of checks during data processing of Contributions and
Receivables with automatic printing of deposit endorsement.
Electronic (NACHA) bank deposit of check entries will be
included in the next release.
Automatic printing of
signatures during check printing.
Insta Check-In features
support all areas of church, event and Sunday school activities.
Child security, health issues, session notes, parent and
guardian tracking, automated check-in and check-out,
user-control of check-in monitor graphics and colors, automated
printing of check-in and check-out sheets, bar-code or proximity
card identification and automated attendance and visitor
tracking are included. When enrolling guests in activities, they
may be assigned classes and groups based upon age and
age-ranges, gender, marital status and geographic location.
Because these features are part of the entire relational
database there is no need for a secondary interface of data.
VOIP (voice over Internet
protocol) telephone messaging is an integrated feature. No
equipment is needed and your phone lines are not used. A
thousand phone messages can be delivered within three minutes,
and can even speak the names of those called as messages are
delivered.
Bulk text messages and
automated e-mail can be sent, selected by activities or database
criteria.
A comprehensive Library
system, based upon current Library of Science standards,
includes touch-screen lookup for library patrons. Items can be
checked out and in with scanners. Library forms and inventory
are printed by the system.
Event, facility and
equipment scheduling tracks all elements of scheduling,
including custodial schedules and set-up. Scheduled events are
exported into the included web calendars on your website. Staff
vacation and times off can be tracked showing composite staff
scheduling.
Photos for each
individual, couple and family can be stored and included in
photo directories. Photo directories include both photos and
user-selected text information. Photos can be taken and stored
in the database in real time during guest and member check-in.
ODBC (open database
connectivity) is enabled throughout the database. This opens the
database for use by third party applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
and report writers such as Crystal Reports.
Web-based applications
interface with your database to provide remote access to
membership information and contributions, calendars and photo
directory.
Biometric (fingerprint)
time clock interfaces with the Payroll system for tamper-proof
processing of payrolls will be included in the next release.
Remote data processing
from geographically scattered ministries can be supported
efficiently on your on-site RDS Advantage server.
Expert and immediate
support is available with unlimited toll-free calls.
Smooth data transition
from other systems is provided by RDS Advantage.
Twenty-five years of technical
leadership brings to churches a system built around a normalized
relational database, using advanced programming tools to produce a
native Windows system in a main-frame type development environment.
These techniques deliver a solid and efficient system that puts
little overhead on networks or hardware.
In keeping with its commitment to
function as a ministry, all new features and enhancements are
provided to users at no additional cost except the Virtual Village
web applications. Each year 300 or more new enhancements are added.
This is a church management system
used by churches of all sizes, but is designed especially for large,
active churches.
