Shelby Systems Moves into New World Headquarters

Cordova, TN -- An eight-year-long dream has become reality as church management software developer, Shelby Systems, Inc., moved into its own custom-built World Headquarters Building in July of 2008. Envisioned by CEO Frank Canady at the turn of the millennium, the new building gives the company ample room for expansion and growth.

Expansion is key as Shelby Systems fortifies its staff, particularly in the area of technical support and training, to handle the increasing need from customers. According to Canady, “The heightened demand for services stems from the growth of our two newest product lines, Arena for the mega church and Aspire for the small church market, as well as our flagship Shelby v.5 product.”

The clean lines and the neutral color palette combined with striking fixtures create a space that welcomes and invigorates, not only for employees but also for customers who come regularly to the Cordova location for training. From the bistro-style break room to the sparkling granite of the foyer, the building is strong on visual appeal.

The new building also provides enhanced security. Access to the building is limited to only Shelby Systems staff and customers, and is controlled through a state-of-the-art entry system. Video cameras monitor activity both inside the building and throughout parking areas.

However, according to Senior IT Manager, Guy Dunnam, the biggest improvement from a technological stand point is that all of Shelby Systems’ servers are protected by Uninterruptable Power Supply and an LP gas generator. Guy explains, “This means that as long as the gas line doesn’t break, Shelby Systems will be online. This is just another way we are improving our ability to provide service to our customers.”

Shelby Systems currently services over 8,000 customers world wide.
