Former NACBA Board member and Leading Church Administrator Joins Visioneering Studios Irvine, CA – December 10, 2008 – Thomas Greer, CPA, an ordained minister and church administrator recognized as an expert in the management of church development projects, recently joined Visioneering Studios as Regional Director. Visioneering Studios, a national architectural / urban design firm based in Orange County, pioneered the concept of “architectural evangelism”—designing church buildings as outreach tools—and incorporates techniques from theme park, resort and retail design to create one-of-a-kind church campuses across the country. Greer comes to Visioneering Studios with more than 30 years of experience as a financial expert and business consultant. For the past 18 years, he served as chief financial and administrative officer for four megachurches, including Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California and Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas, earning him recognition as a leader in church administration and the management of building projects. Most recently, Greer managed the development of a 680 car parking structure, a student center, a 250 seat chapel and park with a small lake at Mariners Church in Irvine, California. Prior to entering the ministry, Greer spent 13 years as a CPA with some of the world’s largest international CPA firms and was appointed as one of 33 resource experts to serve at President Reagan’s 1986 White House Conference on Small Business. “Many churches short circuit the planning process,” Greer says. “As a result, they miss opportunities to redefine their DNA as an organization and to reach out to their communities in new and exciting ways. I look forward to using my skills to help Visioneering create places that expand the vision and ministries of our clients.” Greer’s diverse experiences and unique educational background make him an ideal addition to Visioneering Studios. He founded and served as president of Firm Foundation, Inc., providing strategic planning and financial feasibility studies for multi-phase projects and has supervised construction projects exceeding $180 million. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton.
